- Didn't like the fact that there was service charge added everytime you bought something and no receipts given unless requested everything is expensive enough without adding the service charge I always tip wherever I am but it should be my choice
- We booked a 3pm check in which was confirmed by email but didn’t get into the room until 4.45pm
- Glass door to bathroom was dirty. Water and splash marks. Would expect it to have been a lot cleaner for a 4 star hotel. Bought 3 pieces of jewellery at the hotel. There wasn't any boxes/gift bags to put them in. Bought for xmas presents but had to ask for an envelope to put them in. If you're displaying jewellery etc with a view to selling please have boxes/bags to put them in.

- I think the staff could do abit better, waiting 20 minutrs for drink no banter.
- Found the bar service very slow.
- Initially we were given a room with what we thought was a double bed as thats what we had booked but it had 2 since beds joined together which left a hard line from head to toe in the middle of the bed, in fairness they did change the room for us when we complained about the bed.
- Car parking arrangements are very poor for a hotel if this standard. Arrived in car park with clear signs indicating exit to hotel. Exit was blocked off with no details of how to access the hotel. Eventually a security man answered the intercom and informed me to walk back up the car ramp & along road to hotel. Very poor first impression for the hotel. When checking in I informed the receptionist who was junior and very poorly trained in handling my observation. A poor start to my visit. The hotel really needs to sort the parking issue out as this does not do this lovely hotel justice

- My daughter and I stayed on the 1st of January. When we arrived, we were checked in almost straight away. Our room was more spacious than I thought it would be. The room was nice , clean & comfortable. We went for dinner, which we both enjoyed. The beds were comfortable. I got a good night's sleep, which surprised me as I usually don't sleep well if it's not my own bed. We had breakfast the next morning, which was lovely. There was something for everyone to choose from. I would definitely recommend staying here & I will definitely return to stay myself.

- The bar prices were quite expensive although expected with bars being so close in location it made you want to go elsewhere
- Quite laborious check in due to Booking.com amended dates not being updated on Hilton system. Am concerned I will be charged twice as the original booking date was moved but on Hilton system I was logged as a no-show. The hot food in the breakfast buffet was not hot. Soda break was very hard.
- This is the first hotel I’ve stayed in that required such a high security deposit and the funds were unavailable for over a week after checkout. Again staff were friendly, but deposit handling and pricing clarity (including room service charges being higher than advertised) made the stay more stressful than expected. This hotel may suit guests travelling on expense accounts, but for those managing personal budgets, less restrictive deposit processes would be appreciated. I personally didn’t enjoy the automated text messaging service after check-in. I was also surprised that the room did not have a smart TV.
- The car park attached to the hotel is VERY tight. If you’re not a confident driver or if you own a larger vehicle I would avoid parking in it. An X5 style car really struggles to fit.
