- Everything about the place was exceptional – the service, food, spa – absolutely faultless in every way! It was our second time staying at this hotel – we loved our stay and will definitely be returning again!
- The staff were incredible, very friendly, helpful and made you feel very welcome. Great location, the beds were so comfy and the food was great. We ate at the sister restaurant too and that food was fantastic too.
- Everything was perfect!
- Wonderful hotel and wonderful room! Everyone is very friendly here, and very hospitality. Also convenient for sky cable car, about 8 minutes walk. Hope to come here again.
- This hotel is an exceptional hotel! Rooms are spotless with beautiful designs, the location is stunning, every single staff member is helpful, food is excellent, the Spa treatments are amazing, the atmosphere is fantastic. With so much to do in the area including ski resort, sky view, and charming village of Courmayeur, this is an excellent choice for a great holiday! Couldn’t recommend it enough…
Negative reviews
- Our only point would be that the pool could be a little warmer.
- Shower in bathroom wasn't the best – lacked pressure.
- Some furniture pieces could use re-upholstery
- The temperature in the room was a bit too high (24 degrees)

- This place was great. Loved the location. Loved the staff. Everything they do shows that a lot of thought goes into the running of this operation. I wish they owned and ran more hotels.
- We had an absolutely fantastic stay. Super helpful hosts and we loved the daily breakfast box delivered.
- Excellent appartment with amazing view and helpfull staff
- Lovely apartment. Very clean. Friendly staff. The shuttle whenever you needed it to get into the village or cable car was fantastic. Great views.
Negative reviews
- jackuzi
- Wi-Fi was intermittent.
- The only thing missing for us was a bit of fresh fruits and vegetables for breakfast, but otherwise the breakfast was very generous and conveniently served to the room.

- What a stunning stunning place. The views are incredible, Cogne is such a charming town and Bellevue is a very special hotel. The staff are so friendly, the whole place feels like my imaginary rich nonna’s house with a brilliant spa. The restaurants are great too, especially the brasserie and the fromagerie.
- The spa was fantastic The food was delicious
- Phenomenal – very authentic, high service levels, excellent food, fantastic staff
- A really charming, traditional style, family run hotel. We loved the location, which is not only convenient but is set in the most picturesque spot overlooking the valley. Our room was charming and comfortable, just like the rest of the hotel, which is filled with paintings, portraits, local antiques and history. The Spa is fabulous too. 5 Stars
- This is a very beautiful property and the location is incredibly beautiful with superb Mountain View’s. The staff are exceptional – there is nothing that they cannot arrange for their guests. Two members of the staff deserve special mention, Claudia and Sophie.
Negative reviews
- In some aspects it is a bit too nonna’s house, like some of the knock knacks, and the toilet paper, towels and hair dryer which do feel more like your older relatives’ house than a luxury hotel. I think those would be easy things to update to make the hotel feel even more special, especially to younger customers.
- A bit too many decorations for my personal taste sometimes –
- Everyone, please be aware of the restaurant that collaborates with the hotel. There is a round logo plate with a bird on it displayed next to the elevator in the innermost part of the hotel. The restaurant is called “La Brasserie du Bon Bec” That day, we wanted to give this restaurant a try and asked the hotel to help us make a reservation for 19:00. We didn’t realize it was so close, so we arrived 12 minutes early at 18:48. When we opened the door and entered, we saw a group of staff sitting at a table on the left near the entrance, eating. No one greeted us. I took the initiative to say hello and informed them that we had a reservation for 19:00. A man and a woman, still seated, turned their heads and coldly, with resentful looks on their faces, said just one word: “19:00.” Not a single smile, not even the slightest hint of courtesy. If they had even smiled a little, I wouldn’t have been upset. If they had kindly told us to wait outside for 10 more minutes until opening, I wouldn’t have minded. But their rude behavior instantly made me feel sick. I immediately took my girlfriend and left. We went to another restaurant instead. I honestly don’t understand why a five-star hotel would collaborate with a restaurant that employs such staff. It instantly lowered the hotel’s prestige. My review of La Brasserie du Bon Bec is simply: rude, impolite, and ill-mannered. That moment nearly made me vomit. What gives them the arrogance to act this way?
- Cleaning could be better
- Only problem this time was that our room was exceptionally warm and a little smaller than usually experienced.

- Amazing place in the middle of the great mountains, location, view, people who’s work here, breakfast, cleaning everything was just perfect! Spa is beautiful
- Fantastic view , cat at the reception 😻
- We had a junior suite with the most magnificent views up the valley to Monte Bianco. We loved the covered balcony from which we could have a drink and look at the views. The staff were delightful and very helpful.
- Everything was perfect! A very cozy hotel with an incredible atmosphere. The room was stunning – clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. We were pleasantly surprised with the welcome drinks. The staff was exceptionally kind, friendly, and professional. Breakfast was a true highlight: delicious, with lots of variety, and served until 11:00 – perfect for a relaxed morning with a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc.
Negative reviews
- Spa opens at 11am
- My wife loves a spa but found the pricing a bit fierce, so didn't use the spa facilities at all; although we were out any about quite a lot of the time. Breakfast service was good but, on occasions, a little slow.
- The food in the restaurant wasn’t good and was very expensive for what we had. It certainly didn’t match the standard of the rest of the hotel, sadly.
- Internet connection needs improvement, honestly internet didn`t work at all in our case, also TV connection wasn`t the greatest. It will be nice if the rooms were slightly warmer. I guess the heating in a old house with lots of windows can be a challenge but we found it cold in the evenings. Last thing that we didn`t like was additional cleaning in the afternoon. The cleaning lady took away our sandwiches, probably thinking that we want to waste them. In general, cleaning team was a bit too noisy for for a relaxing holidays (we could her moving furniture early morning). Since it was beg of October, we didn`t use the pool (water was freezing cold).
- L’accès au SPA est dorénavant payant : 35€/personne par passage et non par séjour . L’accès est payant même en prenant des soins au SPA .

- No gym facilities
- It would be great if there could be a gym, even a small but well equipped gym.
- We were treated rudely and sarcastically by a breakfast waiter who not allowed us to choose a table without explaining the reason. He didn't speak English and made ironic facial expressions in front of the others guests. This compromised our overall impression of the stay. We do not recommend an expensive hotel where you are mistreated. Rooms with poor soundproofing, possible to hear guests in the next room.
- Some vegetables in breakfast could be nice
- The rooms are ok, but in compare to 4*, they could be a bit more renovated.

- Everything! The place is absolutely stunning, perfect location very close to the lifts to go skiing. Probably one of the best services I’ve ever experienced. They are super attentive and go the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. All the food is km0 and the breakfast is excellent. The SPA is great, with everything you need, despite it being a small hotel. All the sustainability aspects of the hotel makes it all even better! Our stay was absolutely perfect, thank you!!
- Service was amazing, from the moment we arrived we were welcomed in the parking and during the whole stay it felt like home. The room, sitting areas and food was really good.
- The hotel is located in a beautiful and serene setting with wonderful views. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and attentive. A very relaxing and peaceful stay.
- Modern beautiful property , amazing location & view
- Stunning building in beautiful location, lovely and welcoming staff, relaxing spa, extraordinary breakfast!
Negative reviews
- Maybe just the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved, but overall it’s a small thing compared to our great our stay was 🙂
- No restaurant on site
- Although the bedrooms look beautiful, there are few things I would change – lack of bedroom shelving, no drawers, very small and impractical bedside tables, hard pillows, no English tv channels.
- Beds firm (not my preference). Hotel managed to put our suitcases in someone elses taxi – for whom they had no contact details. Kindly resolved by our taxi driver who was well connected. If you want to eat in other restaurants sort this out yourself via Google. Reception not so helpful in organising this.
- I don’t complain and I’m a very relaxed guest but we got skin damage from the pool. The chlorine was SO strong that both our eyes were red, blurry and sore for 2 days. Even though I showered right after the swim my hair went crispy and hard(?!) at the ends and we both had severe itchy and stinging/burning skin for 3 days after. It’s 5 days since and my hair still smells of chlorine when I get it wet and my skin still burns in some places. It was a Monday morning and we were first in the pool. Maybe that’s why? Do you top it up then? But it was awful and borderline dangerous.

- “Excellent service – special thanks to the staff member who welcomed us, saw us off, and prepared the car. The spa, breakfast, and the shuttle service to and from the slopes were flawless. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”
- Suport on Whatsapp 24/7 and private shuttles
- The property was good, welcoming staff and really good spa. Shuttle service was very convenient.
- Location was perfect, a 15 minute walk to the town centre. The hotel offered a shuttle service to and from the Ski lifts which was very convenient as well as lockers for ski gear in the basement. Fantastic spa area.
- Staff were all amazing and the complimentary shuttles are great, they’ll take you anywhere at any time!
Negative reviews
- Restaurant menu variety felt limited. Bar are was small and you didn't feel like you could completely relax there. Booked a pedicure which was performed to the side of the counter where you could overhear guests having loud conversations near the gym, would have been more relaxing in a treatment room.
- Hot drinks at breakfast were a challenge – slow service and usually lukewarm; please get a self-service coffee machine!
- Nothing – Just a couple of staff were annoying which is hard to forget. Dinner service was very slow at times. Waited from 7.30 to 9.30 for first course one night.
- Many of the other reviews mention only one lift. Although there is a second bank of elevators that services the rooms and spa, it is limited to one for guests and one for staff. To reduce traffic, they would do well to convert this staff elevator to a guest elevator that staff use. The morning hours should be expanded and adjusted. The bar is the only seating area in the lobby; it is closed until 7 am and is frequently being cleaned at very near that time. When I say closed, I mean the room is locked off, so there is nowhere to wait for breakfast on the main floor. Cleaning should be done earlier, and that space should open up for coffee service a half hour before breakfast. Breakfast should also open earlier; starting breakfast only an hour before the lifts open makes it tough to get on the hill early, and with such a large ski area, time is important. I understand the want to wait for the official resort forecast before opening lift ticket sales at 8:30 am when you can get a general forecast that tells you the resort will be fully operational doesn't make sense; this further delays the start of the ski day. As an example, the forecast for one day we skied was: clear skies, wind of 3-5km, temperature of 7c. If this is the forecast, you do not need to wait for the resort to tell you what lifts will run. Regardless of that, the desk will sell you a multi-day ticket for which they do not have a forecast, so it obviously can be done. As others have noted, the bar food menu needs to extend beyond 6 p.m. Items like burgers, pizza, and light snacks should be available whenever a kitchen is open. The main dinner restaurant menu is limited and overwrought. It would be fine for a couple of nights but would not suffice for a week-long stay. Options for children are limited, and given the number of children at the hotel during our stay, this should be addressed.
- Acoustics you can hear the people sleeping above you. No room service menu. Bar has no atmosphere in the hotel. No food in the afternoon before 19:00 PM. Pricing of beverages above average for the region. The rooms are small and there is no sun terrace in the winter. The hotel is in the shade.

- The staff is very polite and helpful! The location and the atmosphere is excellent! The spa is wonderful
- We really appreciated the beautiful hall and lobby. The rooms were well-finished and clean, although a bit small with a rather unremarkable view. The breakfast was varied, even if a little chaotic at times. The spa was pleasant as well, though the turkish bath was not working and the sauna was very small. The direct access to the casino was definitely convenient.
- It is all excellent
- The pools and the spa amazing
- Well finished, spotless and a sense that the owners and staff took pride in the hotel.
Negative reviews
- Charging €5 for an extra towel in the spa felt funny. The food options at the bar were extremely limited, and there were very few—if any—activities available besides the casino.
- Room windows, when opened FILTHY DIRTY, LIVE SPIDERS AND WEBS, LIVE CRAWLING INSECTS. Breakfast choices and service was lacking.
- The food was sufficient but not exceptional. I couldn’t say it wasn’t appetising but probably not of a 5star standard.
- Staff is nice but not 5 star Hotel level. You need to wait quite long to get attended at breakfast and the Restaurant staff for dinner is also not very attentive. You also need to pay for the „nice“ beds next to the pool eventhough the staff at the Spa reception says we dont have to. I have never seen sonething like this for Hotel guests.
- the spa treatments are very expensive

- Amazing hotel with great breakfast, restaurant and SPA in the middle of the mountains above Champoluc.
- Amazing place to stay, very friendly, great character. Spa was fantastic Loved the trip up and down the mountain
- A unique experience
- Wow ! Just loved the location up in the mountains, the beautiful old buildings and interesting old artefacts everywhere, the ambience, and fantastic restaurant – delicious food and v good value for money. Lovely friendly helpful staff.
- This is a real beauty of a property. The hotel owns the old town and you feel completely removed from the rest of the world- a really great escape and they make access to the town and ski resort so easy
Negative reviews
- Our room (N.6) was very (too) small with just one tiny window. Plus, the bathroom was quite old and needs renovation.
- SPA is crowded and it lacks a sophisticated atmosphere, clashing with the rest of the premises. Dining is good but not to the standards of a 5*
- The pellet heater stove wasn’t working so the room was a little cold at times- once the heating was on it was fine but there was no access to control this in the room itself
- The food was below average, we got 2 single beds despite requesting and receiving confirmation of a double bed. Both beds were separating during the night, unpleasant sleep. Cleaning service left the bed unmade after day one. Spa reception employee was unresponsive and abrupt.
- Maybe the meal portions could have been bigger, but there is cake and snacks before to enjoy
