- The hotel activities and food/drink were very expensive – while you expect this for the quality some of the prices were eye watering for a beer/cocktails.
- Activities were extremely expensive and I’m not sure I’d say worth it. €80 for 1 hour Padel hire was a bit ridiculous and something like a sport should be included in the cost, as it is getting people active. Also €120 for e bikes, also ridiculous.
- Sadly breakfast on our last day spoiled our stay – no waiter assigned to our table, took a while to order tea/coffee & then it didn’t arrive for over 35 minutes – obviously we asked again & a second & a third time ( as did other tables ) which resulted in the coffee station being inundated with superfluous orders resulting in further delays.
- The leakage in the room, which I think was because of the heating system, did not make me go to sleep. It was like Chinese torture, a drop in every 20 seconds.
- We didn't realize that the spa wouldn't be open, which is strange that they charge full price considering this is a main reason for bookinv.

The breakfast was – compared to the many other places we have been – absolutely disappointing and didn't make you feel like being in a 5 star resort. The buffet was just boring and not more than standard. And why 10 Euro extra for an Omelette and 5 Euro for Porridge? The resort and its premises are super nice but somehow the charisma wasn't very charming. Just "too clean" and everything felt a bit "stiff". We also missed cosy seating options around the estate…

- We had a new girl at reception which told us some misinformation sometimes, but overall ok. Small details need to be improved at the spa: Massage was good, but…the masseuse had cold hands when she did my massage, big no-no for me. I also had a facial and the lady left me on my own for 15mins with a mask on and I got cold with just a small towel covering my body but my feet and arms and head are were left exposed, I was freezing by the time she came back. I mentioned it to her on her return but she didn’t take any notice nor she did she offer to cover me up any more? A little strange.
- There’s always the faint smell of sulphur from the thermal springs. But you don’t notice this once you’ve been there for a while.

- I had a great overall experience. The check-in was smooth, quick, and very professional. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel also fits perfectly with the overall theme and atmosphere of the city. The hotel offers a shuttle service within Forte De Marmi which was very useful if one did not want to ride. We will definitely be back as soon as possible.

- The rooms are in need of some renovation, there are signs of use. The lobby is renovated it seems like. Hotels description said that the outdoor pool was heated, but it was not – too cold to swim when it was 20 degrees outside.
