- Food, staff
- Like the layout of the rooms and the ambience
- Very nice modern rooms located close to downtown. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Theree was also an EV charging station right next to the back doors which I was able to use.
- Great property, good location, decor is nice.
- The staff was amazing. Remembered my name without prompt and handled all my requests.
Negative reviews
- Could have been cleaner
- Bed was too firm
- The bed could have been more comfortable. There seemed to be some odd hollows in the mattress. When I asked about parking, they took my car information, but failed to tell me that there was a parking charge (about $15 per night). While that wasn't an unreasonable amount, I was annoyed that they failed to tell me about it.
- I was hoping to get in early so my bridesmaids and I could get ready for our wedding. However the room wasn't ready. We ended up having to change plans and have the groomsmen get ready at the hotel instead. It all worked out in the end but it was still stressful at the time.
- Curtains in the room blocked the deck access unless open. I wake up earlier than my partner and use the deck to not disturb her. By opening the curtains it let in a little of light and woke her up. Also felt like it was missing a light in the main area. Was very dark with all lights on unless the curtains were open or at night.

- Spacious modern room with ample lighting. Easy parking, conveniently located
- Very friendly and clean.
- The pool was wonderful, the food was good and our room was really nice. The hotel is beautifully decorated and relaxing. I look forward to going back as I travel to NB from NS often.
- Loved the hotel. Staff was very helpful.
- Everything was amazing
Negative reviews
- The wifi was a real pain with our laptops and would kick us offline repeatedly.
- Bar was closed for a private function and I planned to enjoy a drink
- The only single complaint is that our room 401 really needed a paint job. The paint was chipped everywhere and it didn't look good compared to how nice the rest of the hotel looks.
- Unfortunately, the in-house breakfast option was a Starbucks – $45 for two to have small yogurt/fruit bowls and uninspiring muffins.
- There was a fly in the room from previous stay

- Meals were exceptional.
- Beautiful location, friendly staff and seaside charm
- Lovely hotel with great atmosphere Comfortable lobby and seating around fireplace. Staff everyone of them so friendly. My particular enjoyment on a wintery few days was the lovely staff in the dining room Luila, Varun and Serhi. Breakfast with Luila was lovely so attentive. Front desk staff smiling and pleasing.
- Everything was perfect !!
- The Front desk staff and Braxtons staff were exceptionally welcoming and very attentive, the room was comfortable newly renovated, spacious and well appointed, and the overall ambiance of Christmas is fabulous. For us it was a truly memorable stay.
Negative reviews
- My stay was too short
- I find it too expensive. And it has become more expensive during the last year.
- Not realizing when I booked their were different buildings. For most it wouldn't matter but I have a walking disability and it makes walking any distance difficult. The front desk staff did get me as close as they could last .minute realizing my issue. Would have been helpful knowing to ask for building with dining.
- I did not see there was going to be an "activity" fee when I booked (why not just include it in the price of the room?) No tea or coffee available at all times in the lobby.
- It's just my opinion, I'm a picky eater and the menus really were limited for my choices and I thought a bit pricey. Drinks I thought were very expensive. $18 for a single cocktail. I'm not willing to spend that much on drinks.

- The staff at this hotel are exceptional. We were there during a blizzard and staff shoveled out our car the next morning.
- The convenience of having a quality hotel that includes a restaurant and other amenities like steam shower, etc. Great location (and parking too)
- Bed was comfortable Room was clean Staff very friendly
- The steam room, hot tub and pool were amazing.
- It’s a beautiful place
Negative reviews
- The price we paid was a little higher than the price quoted here on booking.com, but the staff more than made up for it.
- Noise level, and not even top of the line level disappointing..normal conversation in hall..heard flip-flops.. noooo!
- There was an air leak around the AC unit and the wind whistled all night.
- Pool had a ring around (like a dirty bathtub). Also, housekeeping entered our room, before, we'd checked out, when we had a do not disturb sign on the door. When I returned to my room and found the door wide open, with my backpack, purse, sunglasses visible I was not happy, and worse yet, the housekeeper was in the bathroom so wouldn't have been able to see someone walking in to take my things. Very disappointed. Finally, the description of how to use the parking lot wasn't very clear and was further complicated by the fact that our room keys didn't work at the parking lot. Too much time spent at reception trying to get that sorted.
- No continental breakfast

- Great value for money! Pleasant staff! Good restaurant. Cant wait to go back!
- Breakfast was very good. Staff is friendly. Bed is very comfy.
- Friendly staff, really good breakfast. Nice size room, clean bathroom. Lots of parking space. Good location.
- The location was great, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the accommodation was roomy and clean. Plenty of private parking also.
- Very clean and comfy. Excellent breakfast included in price of the stay, not just a continental. More hotels should offer that service.
Negative reviews
- Could hear other guests in the room directly next to ours as well as in the halls
- The water pipes were banging inside the wall during the night.
- The breakfast is probably where they could improve, if the breakfast was exceptional we would certainly give 10 out of 10. Could do with a bit more quality and choice.
- Not a fan of the only window being into a hallway. Felt like I was in a pod. I am sure it is a good thing during NB winters but I would prefer a window of my own.
- I don’t like that I have to pay extra for the dog. It doesn’t say on the booking.com that there will be an extra charge.

- Had dinner at the on-site restaurant – was very good and not overpriced.
- Staff were helpful and a convenient location. Good parking. Guest laundry. Very good restaurant
Negative reviews
- Front desk person ignored us for 2 minutes before acknowledging our presence. (No one else was in queue at that time.)
- Price
- Tv wasn’t working initially
- I have never stayed in a pet friendly hotel. Many dogs barked during the night as well as the early morning. Some dogs are just not meant to stay in hotels as they are not controlled by their owners. You stay at a hotel to sleep. I hardly slept.
- The pillows were to flimsy, not comfortable to sleep with.
