- Nyrenoverat rum med bra säng
- Frukosten var själv service den tid man ville själv. Bra val av bröd och pålägg. Juice, fil, yoghurt, frukt. Gott kaffe även om det var poddar. Mycket flingor och god musli att välja mellan. Funkade väldigt för oss även om det inte fanns äggröra och bacon men det var billigare nu på vintern så det fattar man. Får väl komma tillbaka på sommaren för då skall hela frukost buffen vara framdukad.
- Vi blev gratis uppgraderade till ett rum med terass. Var väldigt fint och ljust rum även om det var för kallt att sitta utomhus.
- Nybyggt, fräscht, cool blandning av en modern träbyggnad och äldre inredning.
- Wifin var utmärkt vilket jag som jobbar med film behövde.

- Great attention to detail. The rooms were clean and spacious with floor heating as well as a heating/ac unit that worked perfectly. Very comfortable beds. The garden is immaculate and there is a private wood trail. The owners were also extremely welcoming. The breakfast was one of the the best we've had at a hotel with almost everything home grown and home made.
- Everything was perfect. We were so pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem 🤍🤍 the rooms were little townhouses not rooms, super spacious. Wonderful food farm to table, cows roaming around. - Beautiful suite with well stocked kitchenette and lovely bedroom upstairs. Little patio area outside, air conditioned and modern shower with great shampoos etc. The room was super well cleaned each day … they even did our washing up! The garden areas were lovely and we spent a lot of time sitting there in the sun, enjoying drinks from the bar. There is a woodland walk where you can take the dog which we did several times. Also made use of the gas grill for dinner. And the breakfast was the best we ever had. There is so much attention to detail and everything was immaculate and perfect.

- Eftersom vi hade läst så mycket på Booking.com om just maten, så var det väldigt synd att dom inte hade middag den dagen vi var där. Det är det enda som gör att vi rankar detta ställe 9 istället för 10. Tydligen skulle information finnas om att mat inte fanns den dagen, men det missade vi tyvärr, så stället hade gjort vad dom kunde.

- Awesome breakfast, incredible ruins right out the back door, and personal clean and cute rooms, incredible value, location, and history! Staff was so nice and helped us rent bikes for the day, literally couldn’t have enjoyed it more.

- This place was excellent. Lots of character, attached to St. Clemens ruins from the courtyard. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect. The buffet breakfast was awesome with many options. We also liked that they had on-site parking (reserved in advance) and they were able to take care of our laundry. The additional fee for parking and laundry was very fair and reasonable. In our opinion, this place is totally excellent and we would definitely stay there again if we returned to Visby.

- I absolutely loved how old the building was. We could feel the age of the building yet it was so clean and immaculately maintained. The breakfast staff woman was extremely welcoming and helpful! She made us feel like we were completely at home. I would highly recommend this central hotel with its perfect location. We found parking right outside and we were just minutes away from all the central shopping, main square and the many restaurants. We can’t wait to return!

- Our room was in the oldest part of the building. It was quite small and half of it was taken up by an enormous bathtub which we never used. There was a shower so this tub was completely unnecessary. highly recommend Helgeand, but make sure you do NOT get that room!

- From the balcony of our room in the Ark building the view over the safari park was magnificent. Bambis visited us in the evening. - After a tour of the facilities, as soon as we arrived at our room we noticed a lot of debris/dirt/hairballs in the floor (see picture). So much we usually take out our shoes, but this time, we had to use the slippers to avoid getting our feet dirty. Over the toilet, there were yellow stains in the wall. Bed sheets and towels were clean, if that was not the case, we would have just walked out the door. The top shower, was white of so much calc and clogged and the side shower had been tampered with and water went everywhere. The complementary wine had also been for several hours in the sun, and was warm to the touch – we did not dare to open that bottle. We also noted we could hear other guests moving in and out, so the soundproofing of the room was not that good. The breakfast really was not great. Everything was either lactose free, or gluten free, when asked about normal milk to the staff the answer was the lactose free milk tasted very good. So for milk there were two options – Lactose Free or Almond Milk. Butter was Lactose Free. The only two types of bread were both gluten free, the coffee was the standard powder mixed with water so not so great. I particularly was disgusted, and ended having not much more than a slice of bacon and some eggs with the gluten free bread – without lactose free butter, and drank a bit of the powder coffee and some pink apple juice which did not seem natural. Note we were very excited about the place, as it was my birthday and we had high expectations, we did around 250 Km with a tolled border crossing – each way just for experiencing this hotel and nature – and turned to be a real disappointment.

- The snack bar operates during the same hours as the reception, so after 7 or 8 p.m., there is no longer any service for guests, but our room had a full kitchen, so we managed fine with a few things we bought at the market and accessed the place through the night entrance.
- Air con in our room didn't work. Window did not open and it was very hot in the room. Filter coffee self service in the reception/cafe area had to be paid for each time. In such a lovely hotel, this could have been included in the price.
- Apartment was great on the edge of the pond – but I would say small for six (only five of us).
