- I stayed at Strandpiren Hotel for one night during a road trip. The location is fantastic, right by the water, which makes for a very relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was excellent, varied and plentiful, nothing was missing. I can also highly recommend the restaurant for dinner. The food was fresh, flavorful, and of high quality. Another big plus was the safe and convenient parking directly at the hotel. Overall, a great place to stay and one I would gladly return to.

- In the booking, it said we would receive champagne/wine, but we didn’t receive any. Reception said it was incorrect information. 😢 Also, the breakfast spread is quite limited.
- The hotel was a little out of Husksvall. We had a car so it wasn’t a problem.
- If you like a short walk, this won’t be an issue—but if you prefer to stay right in the middle of everything, keep this in mind. The hotel is a bit outside the city centre, which I actually enjoyed (fresh air and a little movement never hurt!), but if you have mobility concerns or just don’t feel like walking, a taxi or car might be a better option.

- The room didn't have any proper window, it was located kind of underground with "fake" window. I would expect lower price for such room, although the room was spacious and nice.
- Shower orientation in the bathroom was odd meaning a super narrow shape, shower curtain that you could not avoid, and lots of water going on the floor.
- As someone from more of a Southern European background, I would love to have a cappuccino or a cortado for my breakfast instead of just black coffee. First world problems really.
- Parking is a short walk, about 150m from the hotel, which is fine as long as the weather is too.

- Very welcoming staff in this Historical European Hotel ! Very good breakfast with fresh orange juice, very nice dinner (3 or 5 courses buffet) with a special price for children. Great location to reach Harsa cross-country skiing area by car, also possible to do down hill skiing or cross country in the village. Nice village with a train access.

- + It is adequate and does the job well! It is at a great location if you need a place to stay while you are passing close Söderhamn. To stay here, you do not need to enter into the city. There are lots of parking slots. + The hotel looks a bit like a US style roadside motel from outside. It is of course understandable this may be the case if one does not want to go into the city. Nevertheless, before going into the hotel, I was not sure if I would have stayed here if I were traveling solo. After entering the building, it feels ok and safe. I would use this place even if I were driving solo. + The room was as in the photos. Our room was looking into an area with trees and we did not hear any noise from the motorway. The water from shower was hot with good pressure. The curtains did a good job of blocking the sunlight. (The lack of proper curtains tend to be an issue in hotels in this price range in Sweden for some reason.) + The breakfast was good. Compared to a higher star location we stayed in the same trip, it seemed to have almost exactly the same range with better cereal diary corner and less meat options here but with slightly worse presentation overall. + Our room had a small hairdryer (which seem to be an issue in the other reviews). The room also had a kettle with some some tea bags and instant-coffee.

- – There were a small "lack of fork" crisis during breakfast while staying there. No big issue but may be an indication of low number of staff or need of more cutlery during peak times.

- This isn’t so much of a big deal but the room I stayed in was one of the rooms which hadn’t been modernised so the furniture was out dated and the room was dark. Also in the bathroom the silicone around the shower seemed a DIY job which made the room look very unprofessional. The whole room and bathroom was clean though.
