- Food is warm not hot, drinks a little expensive, the prices are the same as if it is peak skiing season, which as a skier I would accept, but off season perhaps some more cost effective wines, maybe even a house red and white.
- The hotel was very good, but was let down by the check-in experience. Arriving in the evening all the staff were busy with the restaurant guests. I could not get attention at reception desk even though I rang the bell several times. Later I saw another guest trying to check-in with the same problem. This was the 2nd time I have stayed at the hotel, and had the same problem during my previous stay.
- Far from the ski area. Need car or to get the bus. But the bus time table is weird. I waited for almost 1 hour in the cold and no bus arrived. If you are travelling with kids I don’t recommend this hotel.
- Unfortunately, I saw a gray silverfish in my room which made me very uncomfortable.

- The property was dog friendly, with access to the lounge, restaurant and general area all accessible for the dog. This made the trip incredibly enjoyable, as our dog was only in the room when we were out skiing. The staff were fantastic and always ready to help. The breakfast was 10/10 and provided such a broad range of food.

- The whole atmosphere of Hotel Bügelhof was great thanks to the nice interior design and the fantastic staff. We loved also the breakfast, which offered a huge variety (you must try the waffles!). The location is very conveniently located to get on the slopes and that free parking is included makes it also a worry free stay. When going next time to Sälen, I will certainly stay again at Hotel Bügelhof.

- In the hotel Bugelholf: We did not like the location of our room; it was at the most far away in the end of the corridor. We needed to walk very very long distance through the corridor to reach stairs of lift.
- Would have been good with dimmers for the cieling lights in the room.
- The bed was really soft in the middle, the curtains let lots of the flood light in and the noise of neighbouring children travelled easily between the bedrooms so I did not sleep well.
- The beds are not too comfortable, there is no tea or coffee in the rooms, the nearest grocery store is 20 mins walk.

- We wasn’t aware that our room was very small and not in the main building. In winter time it’s not comfortable to visit Spa in the main building. Spa was beautiful but rather small, one sauna and one pool and one big jaccuzi. Blanket was very old and not good quality. Price was high but room was outdated.
- The breakfast did not live up to the rest of the hotel and was not well organized.
- Our first room was noisy. Staff were accomodating so we changed room Pillows were foam instead of down
- Kids facilities can be improved, especially outdoor ones.

- There was no kettle to boil water which was inconvimience since we had small kids n needed to warm up milk for them, we also wished there was a small refrigerator to help save baby food. We also wished they offer bottled water in the room depending the money we paid for just 2 nights the price was exaggurated!
- The rooms were really small. For a family room, it was quite a difficult task to fit all of us in the room. And we did not bring any ski equipment with us. There was no place to unpack our luggage. Even the waste bin was too small and we do not produce much waste as a family. There was not even a kettle in the room. The window was quite difficult to open and it had some damage on it which asks for a repair.
- Breakfast was super crowded. Lots of dirty tables, no clean plates or glasses available. Lots of food on the ground giving the whole area an unclean look. Only one coffee machine available that also produced hot water and frequently broke down.
