- The only complaint (TINY) was that we didn't get the "swag-bag" the guy ahead of us got. Felt snubbed. Otherwise, this is a place we would definitely and happily return to.

- Check in is 15:00, check out is 10:00. Very unusual for check out time. Sunday morning, we finished breakfast had a coffee and left the room for 11:15. We charged for late checkout fee. Breakfast is poor.
- Too crowded, it was non stop, people checking in and foyer was constantly heaving. That was a bit too much especially as reception is far too small to accommodate all these people at the same time. A bit of a crazy start. Breakfast was the same, heaving. Spa period being 2 hours is too little to enjoy fully. You can’t relax fully knowing you have to leave shortly. It got really busy but 3/4 hours would be better to enjoy the faculties and actually have a nap by the fireplace. Check out being 10am was quite insane, if I didn’t have an early flight, it would have been a big problem. Usually checkout is 12. 10 is way too early.

- Cleaning. When we got to our room the sink still had spit and toothpaste from the prior guest. It made me question how well did they actually clean the rooms. Breakfast was good but they had a lot of lines. You had to wait a bit to get your food. Check-in was very slow, they let only one person who had to do check-in + answer the phone. He seemed to be struggling.

- I was very much hoping to take advantage of the wellness section of the hotel – in fact that drove my reservation – and it was a great let down when I was messaged only a week before of my arrival that due to a water leak it was closed down. On the one hand I have no idea why a leak takes so long to repair, but more importantly, I could not reserve an alternative hotel by then as prices have changed substantially.
- Parking Lot space was very far from the building.
- Many construction work around and in front of the hotel, difficult opening of door on 6 the floor which is separating elevators from rooms corridor. Bread for breakfast is not always fresh and that is visible.

- I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Skara Stadshotell! From the moment I arrived, everything was amazing. The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of Skara, making it easy to explore the town and nearby attractions. Bread was not fresh. Milk was non excistant. No fried eggs.

- We use the hotel as a stopover going skiing in Northern Sweden and it's the perfect place to get to in an afternoon from Copenhagen. The rooms are great for a family of four and they have a great breakfast buffet.
- Breakfast. High floor room – great view. Big bed. Comfortable bed and pillows. Warm. Quiet. Spacious once you put the bed touching once side of the wall. Tram line in front of the hotel, tram stop go to the city right in front.

- Closed reception area during the night and we couldn’t find a phone number on the webpage to call (the number was in the room) when we forgot our code to get in. Window through the football fields. We were lucky to switch to the room with windows. Breakfast close early, 9.30 am and weekend at 10 am.
- Restaurant closed few minutes before I could order. So, I went out for some takeaway, at my return I had to eat outside because in the lobby was not allowed and room didn’t have a proper place to eat. Very disappointing treat.
- Beds were not comfortable. Room to small. Such a big hotel and the reception is not working 24 hours.

Perfect tourist information centre in the town, they arranged the transport to Tivedens national park for very nice price (130 SEK for 3 persons together).

- Room was smaller than shown in picture and there was no ventilation
- The rooms had no air flow and seem very dated.
- Everything was as expected. The only thing to mention is somewhat short working hours of the spa during weekday. We arrived ~19, so it was already closed. And check-out is at 11 while spa starts to work at 10, so there is no comfortable way to use it neither in the later evening nor in the morning if you are staying for one night only.
- We had a night of no sleep because of a noisy guest, there was no one on site to help. Paying a high price for a room then getting me sleep is disappointing. We were sold drinks at last orders from the bar then told to leave shortly after and not allowed to drink them, or take them to our rooms. Staff member rude .
- The place felt like a retirement home.
