- We really likes how friendly and professional the staff were, along with a 5 star breakfast and beautiful views from the "16th" floor.

- We feel that although this hotel is beautiful and deserves many awards and stars, it definitely isn't a 4 star, as a 4 star would at least have a sauna, or pool, or room service or larger gym, so presumably the owner of the hotel, like most hotels in Norway is on the board that gives the stars to these hotels so obviously is prejudice over other hotel's. But lovely place all the same
- Parking is in 2 options: Public parking in front of hotel, quite expensive (250 NOK for 24hrs), or public paking in a garage in the building which costs approx 290 NOK. On Friday evening it was hard to find a spot on both of them.
- No chicken to eat in breakfast
- The room cleaning was a challenge. I had two drinks in my room the evening before and also spilled a drink on my pillow only to return the following evening after morning cleaning to see they had “cleaned” the room but my empty ginger beer bottles were still in the room, garbage not emptied. They had made the bed and fluffed back the dirty pillow. To say I was pissed was an understatement. It was too late and I was too tired to even head to reception to complain. This issue did make my start questioning the cleanliness of the entire hotel.

- Everything was perfect
- The location is wonderful. We booked the suite. Great view and big and spacious room. The staff were very kind, and especially Lena from reception 🙂 Very nice with access to free bikes, free entry to wellness and water park. Food was okay, also many options in Lyngdal.
- The breakfast was exceptional. Free access to the nearby bath with hotwater bassin, sauna and steambath. Friendly and competent check-in. Delicious fish for supper and served on the terrace overlooking the beach and sea.
- Loved the view! I was glad I reserved a room with a balcony. It was great to be able to go to the fitness center next door. Most of the staff were nice. Easy to find, easy to park. Quiet. Comfortable bed, very good wifi. I enjoyed exploring the area with the short time I had and enjoyed a quick swim.

- The restaurant menu is quite simple, not a lot of options. And also there were very few power outlets in the room, but otherwise not much negative to say. We will definitely come visit again as soon as we can

- No air conditioning system, so you need to sleep with the varanda door open wich gets a bit noisy in the morning
- The hotel is a bit dated. I hope the woman at reception on the 15th was just having a bad day, if this is her every day attitude, hospitality may not be her calling.

- My room was clean and with normal bed and bathroom. However the room (to the land-side) was more like what you could expect from an old spanish hostal : no coziness, carpets but a true plastic floor. Not what I expected to this prize

The bed itself had seen better days, with notable sags in the mattress. I would likely rate this property higher if my room had been furnished with a modern king-sized bed. The location, just off the road, is rather uninspiring, though I am sure one would be happy enough to explore the nearby town.
- Two men were smoking in the hallway outside our room. There was a smell everywhere, possibly from smokers or due to being an older place. Couch could use a steam cleaning. Staff were quite unfriendly.

- Location was just next to a beautiful lake. Staff was really good and helpful. Lobby area is designed well makes you feel comfortable and warm. Breakfast was good.

- At breakfast no staff was available, while it was clear that the cereals/muesli were forgotten in the buffet. We came in after 8 am, other guests were already in the restaurant. Only when we almost left two laughing guys came in, one guy opened a cupboard and put down 4 bowls with the cereals. The other one filled a bowl and went into the kitchen.
- The rooms were a bit outdated, the window handles seemed to be damaged which made them very difficult to handle. At night a bathroom shelf randomly fell off the wall which woke us up.
