- Friendly and helpful staff. Room was a good size and spotlessly clean with lovely L'Occitane products in the bathroom. Great location, walked to most places of interest and bus stop just around the corner for getting to Granville Island and Capilano Bridge.
- Gorgeous boutique hotel. Perfect location. Close to the Hullo ferry and close to shopping, restaurants, etc.. The rooms are very luxurious. I have stayed in many high end hotels and this is the only hotel that all of the staff is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful.

- No toothbrush/toothpaste in the room (basic toiletries) considering it’s a 5-star hotel. you can’t self-park and the inly available option is to valet park, so, if you extend your stay even if its an hour, they will automatically charge you two days worth of parking but they won’t tell you that. No tv options, all movies/music needs to be paid for $24.99 🙂 the photos look very spacious because they have it on 0.5x , but when you get i side the room, the ceilings are low.
- My complaint is that the hotel is not as advertised on Booking.com. This is an issue with Booking.com, not the hotel. Booking lists among the facilities/amenities “pool, gym, rooftop patio”. The hotel DOES NOT have a pool or gym as advertised.

- This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The unit was very spacious with lovely decor. It was very clean and fresh. It had a large bedroom with a small den along with 2 huge walk in closets. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make our meals. It was very quiet with a lovely city view. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The neighbourhood felt very safe. Look no further for a great deal downtown Vancouver.

- There was a strange odour in the refrigerator, we were still able to use it but was just a bit unpleasant. The property is located right opposite The Penthouse nightclub and it became quite loud & roudy in the early hours of the morning on the Friday & Saturday night we stayed. The other nights were fine.

- This is a superb hotel. The apartment was huge. Beds are amazing and shower/ bath fabulous. We stayed twice within a matter of days. Our first night was amazing and our room was outstanding. On our return stay, where we had a different room and it happened to be 0c , the heating wasnt working. The bacony door seal was so bad all the cold air came in.
- Location, size of the rooms, the full kitchen made it comfortable for our family.
- The hotel is beautiful and the attached restaurant provided great food and service. Hotel staff were accommodating and the whole place had a refined atmosphere.
- Suite was fantastic. Very comfortable, just like home. The bed was very comfortable.
- The staff were thoughtful and conscientious. The atmosphere of the lobby is welcoming and the art work and flowers are nice touches. Our room was quiet with a very comfortable bed. And the full kitchen was well designed and out of sight. Overall a great place to stay.

- My only complaint was the heating in that one particular room that should not be used until the door is replaced. We did comment on the heating and someone did attend but it made no difference. In retrospect, we should have insisted on changing rooms.

- Very clean, appreciate the bell service. We had 7 pieces of bags with 3 carry on ones. On our day of departure to the airport, on 14 Dec, around 1300hrs, your bell service young gentleman, carefully helped to load up our bags onboard the uber private hire. Even though the uber driver expressed that his car might not be able to take all our bags. So greatly appreciate the young gentleman’s kind assistance.

- Parking is cumbersome and costs 75 dollars per day. Although it’s a historic building all of the character has been renovated out of it. The pool is partially under renovation so there is no hot tub. They have turned the hot tub into a putting range. Room had no view yet we were on the 10th floor.

- I booked a room (suite) with a bathtub, but room wasn’t available at check-in. So was accommodated with two interconnected rooms with two baths instead. Cleaning of room could be improved. Dust on lamps. Phone in one room kept cutting out when making calls.

- The hotel hosts a casino or the casino hosts this hotel. Either way this casino is average, it failed to include a smoking room like the one reserve casinos’. It is not quite as nice as Whitecap Dakota Dunes and not in any way as nice as Casino Rama. There needs to be a massive reset in the casino to embrace indigenous identity over the very Chinese focused casino from signage to local staff speaking mandarin and Cantonese over local french, english or a local coastal language.
- Nothing we don’t really like, having to pay for parking is a bit of a rip off.
- Being charged for cutlery, very limited options for breakfast inclusion, & reception staff not providing information regarding our stay.

- Similar to other reviews the night club within the hotel (!!) was a huge problem. We were on the 7th floor directly above the night club on the 6th floor, on the Friday night all we could hear was loud club music and our room was vibrating from the bass. We were flying back to the UK the next day so were desperate to get an early night so the whole thing was a bit stressful. Near midnight I called down to the front desk to ask how much longer it was continuing to be told it would continue until 3am. I appreciate it is not the front desk staff’s fault and they were very apologetic, additionally we were offered a formal apology and some compensation in Marriott points. However I do feel the need to point it out in a review as I would not recommend staying here on the event nights which seem to be Fridays and Saturdays. The only other thing is the cooler in the room in lieu of a fridge, whilst cool this was a bit impractical and not very effective. For the money one would probably expect a fridge in the room
