- It is about a 20 minute walk into Tewkesbury from the hotel, but at night there are no lights on the drive and it feels a bit unsafe. Some lights down the drive or a separate walking path would be a great addition, please. Also, a small thing, but it would be helpful if all rooms had safes, please.

- The wellness facilities were a little dated and could have done with an update. Could also make it more ‘spa like’ and be able to have drinks around the pool, as well as a robe to walk around in.
- Pool cold and a long walk for 2 83 year old Pool is located outside of the hotel so got cold and wet walking to access it

- Everything was marvellous, the pool is the spa is smaller than the photos and a little cold, but we soon warmed up in the steam room and the massages were amazing
- Just needed some tweaks – put a bin in the closet where the tea/coffee facilities were. Have some air fresheners in the room as it smelt a little musty. Could do with an outside hose/tap during the winter to wash off dogs/shows of mud. Spa closed very early
- The small double bedroom was cosy but extremely compact, with the smallest bathroom we’ve ever had and we are a short and slim built. The shower base was triangular and about half the size of a small standard home shower, so only a small child would feel comfortable using it. In hindsight, we wish we had booked the next room category up, even for a small additional cost, even for just one night. We were also unable to use the pool or spa as they were very busy on Friday afternoon around 4 pm. Additionally, these facilities are located in a separate building across the garden, which isn’t very practical, especially during winter.

- I stayed two nights at De Vere Cotswold Water Park Apartments and had a very pleasant experience. The apartment was very clean and spacious, and being self-catering was a great advantage. The kitchen equipment looked almost new and had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, right by the lakes, and the free parking was very convenient.

- Shower head too high and unable to adjust no option but to get hair wet! Add shower caps. Flooded walkways unable to pass. No hotel information in room ie room service and restaurant menus.
- No plugs by the bed and no smart TV, had to watch terrestrial, forgot how annoying adverts are!
- Access to the swim facilities were hard as the spaces allocated filled up very quickly for the size of the hotel. And additional £10charge seemed extremely high.
- It was really cold. Just one radiator was inadequate in the large living area. The radiators were all turned off when we got there so they had to be turned on by us and then were still inadequate
- Anyone could walk on deck in front of our apartment. Noise from hard floors above. Room wasn’t checked on day two… needed loo rolls without having to ask.. Disappointed with Boathouse … limited menu and very expensive for what is essentially “ pub grub” Was much better on our last visit.

- Spa only has a jacuzzi and this was not working. The outside pool was dirty and was not being looked after, impossible to use. I had the worst massage of my life, manager gave me a full refund. Cocktails took 20 mins to make. So we ordered room service and cancelled our evening dinner and the food was not great.

- The welcome, through to the departure, was very easy an relaxed, did have to get permission for a last drink at 10 50 pm, but was granted , defo be back, next time will check out the facilities that come with the room, ie gym, pool, sauna , had a good experience thanks.

- One lady whom I reported to the manager on Sunday was rude! Questioned if I had paid for breakfast, told me I was taking too much food for my husband, which consisted of x2 eggs, mushrooms, beans and x2 vegan sausages and some pastries along with x2 juices! She was loud, and unpleasant, unprofessional as other people on tables next to us approached me and said how awful her service and approach was too me! This left my daughter very upset Manager apologised but not heard outcome or got apologised from this lady! Keep in mind the manger ch need us in before before being seated at the table for breakfast
- Food, apart from breakfast, was plain and expensive for what it was.
- The buffet breakfast was very disappointing. Bacon overcooked, sauages tasteless and continental breakfast selection was poor
- Did not enjoy being made to eat in a corner of the bar facing the stairs to the toilets with tv blaring. I know it was Sunday shortage of staff but a single traveller needs some quiet after hours of driving.
- Having to pay for parking. It’s ridiculous when you are on the outskirts of a city in a hotel with its own car park and paying this much to stay! It feels like an excuse to get more money from customers and would make me think twice about staying here again. £7 a night is a rip off. And why aren’t the rooms all bed and breakfast? Another £16 on top!
