Positive reviews

  • We have stayed here a few times now and find it homely with the subtle touch of luxury.
  • Exceptional service, never been so happy during a stay. Highly professional, friendly and accommodating staff. Incredible breakfast and spa area. Thank you so much for everything, will be back for sure!
  • Everything, there is literally no fault to this hotel. Spa is the best iv been to and service is second to none
  • Beautiful hotel. Couldn’t be better!
  • Loved the spacious bedroom and all the extra amenities.

Negative reviews

  • Cover charge in bar, and one of the staff in velvet bar was very condescending although most were lovely.
  • We have stayed here twice now, my boyfriend has a severe Nut allergy and both times with our room service breakfast we have had nutella in a jar on our table. I know this would have been a genuine mistake however does not fill with confidence that the staff take having a nut allergy serious.
  • Pricing of anything not included with the room – breakfast pricing is crazy. Also taken aback when a discretionary service charge was added to the overall bill, which is really quite cheeky.
  • The halal options in restaurants were not satisfactory. Very small mocktail served to me would have liked a bigger glass, espa toiletries no longer available in rooms.
  • The thermal area was disappointing as we specifically booked as we wanted to spend time relaxing. The jacuzzi style pool was low heat, the steam room smelt funny and it seemed the art of peace and relaxation is lost on young couples who talked and laughed loudly in the jacuzzi area without turning the pool jets on so nobody could use it. It was a great space but poorly managed. This is a spa issue. You have the amazing facility but it’s not being watched carefully enough

Positive reviews

  • The beautiful decor and great Rosi restaurant
  • The hotel is very clean with amazing food and great staff and in the perfect area
  • Terrific location in Mayfair, also near Oxford Street and Marylebone. The Art Deco style of the hotel got me there, since I am less keen on the chintzy affair that many hotels provide for visitors to England. The bathroom was gorgeous, and there are plenty of lovely touches throughout: bookmarks left on a pile of books, spectacles cleaning kit, toiletries from D.R. Harris. Great turndown service. Mercifully, the communicating door with adjacent room is in the vestibule, which can be closed off with sliding panel; otherwise that would have been an issue. I benefited from a one category upgrade and I'm grateful for that.
  • Everything was meticulously clean Staff went out of their way to be hospitable and friendly Every request was handled promptly The location was strategically close to everything, yet the hotel was very quiet and shielded from outside noise
  • Everything was just perfect

Negative reviews

  • Staff at Le Magritte Bar seemed cold and aloof to me, and I don't ask for US style chummy (quite the contrary). Same thing at breakfast, where on top of frigid and indifferent treatment the food was lackluster. If I'm going to pay 38GBP for hard avocado toast, a small bowl of berries, and a coffee, I'd like at least to leave with a smile on my face to withstand the London rain. Again, no need for fake friendliness, just try harder at that certain cosmopolitan grace that must distinguish an establishment such as The Beaumont. That said, I would come back, just wiser after a first experience.
  • No pool
  • Some rooms face an interior wall, which is quite common in Mayfair. For a more enjoyable experience, it’s worth choosing a higher‑category room.
  • Hotel policy charges: 300£ from my card which will be sent back only in 10 days in fact.
  • Not clean. There were stains on the floor in the bathroom. Additionally, there were periodic smells of poop coming into my room. I literally woke up at 5 am because I smelt someone else’s poop. Disgusting ventilation system and not worth the price. Additionally, even during checking out the lobby smelt like poop.

Negative reviews

  • The cost of breakfast is just too high even for a quality hotel.
  • The size of the rooms And lounge areas
  • No mini bar or any drinks in the fridge, could have some small milks/ milk bottles for coffee & basic drinks in the mini bar. I had to order room service for a water and Coke Zero which cost £20+

Positive reviews

  • They think about everything. You find everything you need in the room. Food was lovely. Staff very helpful and friendly. Can’t fault it
  • It’s the perfect location from everything, beautiful hotel
  • Excellent staff, from the booking till the check-out, they are absolutely great! We are traveling with our daughter who cannot eat salt (she takes some medication). We announced that upfront and they were amazing: they organized great breakfast for her, Bruno came and talked to her during breakfast- she felt absolutely great, despite her medical condition which was not so great. Thank you!
  • Great hotel, location, beautiful room and very nice breakfast. We also loved the bar for dinner, food was delicious. Just a little disappointment with the pool and jacuzzi – poool was freezing and no one warned us (hearing broken) and jacuzzi broken.
  • We were greeted by very polite, friendly staff who informed us our room had been upgraded and then provided complimentary drinks while we waited for the room to become available, as it was our anniversary they also decorated our room for us which was a really thoughtful gesture. A really great experience which has encouraged us to come back and enjoy a longer stay in the summer

Negative reviews

  • Nothing, I can’t wait to come back!
  • The pool was freezing
  • Cold pool No jacuzzi
  • How dark it was in the bedrooms and tricky to see easily and operate all the electric gadgets – lights, curtains, heating etc I found it a bit dark and quite difficult to operate all the electronics in the bedroom.
  • Spa facility was not as as great

  • Centre of town but rooms so quiet! Very clean, lovely room, attentive staff
  • There’s no doubt that this hotel is in a great location for all the major London sites. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and clean. Nice bar deceptively hidden and friendly staff.
  • Very clean, great breakfast one of the best i experienced in hotels. The hotel staff was very kind, warm and helpful in every area.
  • All staff were very attentive: from Chef to restaurant to reception to porter and house staff

Negative reviews

  • The £100 deposit for each room which was a bit steep and is refunded if you don’t use anything, wasn’t explained either, thinking I’d been overcharged I made a return visit to reception to have all the above clarified which I could have done without.
  • Our guests commented that the water from their shower was dangerously hot and despite trying everything they couldn’t cool it down, consequently they didn’t use it for fear of being scalded.
  • It wasn't cute that on arrival we were informed we had to charge a "security deposit" of 100 pounds per night per room. Some how this was rounded out to 500 pounds total. There had been no warning of that, even though there had been a lot of messages from the hotel before check in. That amount was immediately charged on our credit card and it took another 5 days after we checked out for it to be refunded. Also not cute: a million (OK, not literally but felt like that) things in your room that you would be charged if you used, took, wanted. Felt like aggressive marketing all around. Also: I get it that staff wants to be friendly. Let's try to find the line between "friendly" and "intrusive".
  • No door on bathroom
  • Breakfast wasn’t amazing

  • Location is fantastic, the staff are lovely and helpful, and the rooms are really comfortable and nicely laid out. The half bottle of champagne and the chocolates in the room were a nice touch. The beds are really comfortable and it's lovely to have a nice big shower. The bar at the top is lovely, and it's used for lunch and has some fabulous views.

  • The staff were excellent, made the stay that little bit better.. The location is great, perfect for theatre trips.

Negative reviews

  • We actually booked the hotel for the roof top breakfast, so we were very disappointed to find breakfast had moved the ground floor. Then the breakfast offered was not buffet and was limited and the hot food was not well cooked. But, I must point out that we never complained at the time, so staff did not have a chance to rectify the situation regarding the food quality.
  • Huge costs on top of a nightly rate of £334 which took it to the region of £450 which included both service charge and a deposit. Please make the deposit “optional” or at the discretion of the guest
  • Wanted to charge a service fee on top of what was an expensive nightly rate.
  • Restaurant and bar very pricey
  • BREAKFAST WAS SO SLOW ON BOTH DAYS, FOOD WASNT VERY HOT, TOAST WAS LIKE RUBBER BECAUSE IT WASNT COOOED AND HAD TO BE SENT BACK ON BOTH DAYS. 2 HOURS FOR BREAKFAST IS RUBBISH. ALL THE STAFF WERE RUDE AND COULD HARDLY UNDERSTAND OR SPEAK ENGLISH PROPERPLY. WE HAVE BEEN CHARGED A SERVICE CHARGE OF £25 PER DAY FOR WHICH WE HAVE NO IDEA AT ALL WHY – THIS WAS NEVER STATED WWHEN WE BOOKED IT AND SHOULD BE RETURNED TO US
