The meats(3): rustic pate was particularly good, eggs (2 ways), bacon, yogurt, fruit, orange juice, coffee, tea. There were several interesting displays in the hotel, look for the Olympic torch.

- Ok…so. Not a Big Deal. I may be mistaken. (If so I apologize)…When I was going to connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, I noticed that no password was required. ?? I do not think I have ever encountered a network that did not require a password. But then…this IS Norway 😏 and not Atlanta, GA, USA. As I connected to the internet, my iPhone started to cry. 😂

- We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Pollfoss Hotel as a winter getaway. The staff is very kind, professional and accommodating. The hotel has a lot of charm and the surroundings are breathtaking. We also had a great time at the spa. We would absolutely love to come again.
- The breakfast was excellent with good variety, including lots of smoked salmon. The bread was good too although they quickly ran out of my favorite…..sadly they didn't have more in the back when I asked. The river/waterfall is exciting although it might be hard for light sleepers. Employees were kind enough to freeze our coolbox elements and refrigerate the contents as there is no room fridge.

- It was a bit expensive for what you got in the economy room. The location was ok as it was a spontaneous stop while travelling but it was quite far to walk to the centre to restaurants etc. and wouldn't be great if you were staying longer.

- Family ski trip, hotel is right by the piste and halfway up the mountain, ski shop and ski hire in same complex on levels below the hotel. Good breakfast and standard of food in buffet and a La carte was generally high. Reception desk staff very helpful. swim pool was busy but nice.

- This is a fantastic location, situated right on the slopes with ski-in/ski-out access, hotels has ski locker room on the ground floor. The staff is welcoming, and the rooms are nice with comfortable beds. Fresh water is always available in the lobby. The breakfast is very good, and there is a delicious three-course dinner offered from 6-9pm. The spa area is enjoyable, and the sauna is located in the changing rooms for both men and women.

- This historic hotel is lovely and the setting is spectacular. I had middag (dinner) at the restaurant and the meal was incredible (the presentation was delightful and the taste was perfection).

There was one bowl that was empty and not been refilled when we left. They had limited selections for meat. Bacon but no sausage. The breakfast seemed very disorganized for that hotel. In all we were very displeased with the breakfast.

- It was a hot summer day, the room did not have any ventilation to speak of, one of the two windows could not be opened, and the one that did only opened a sliver. The bathroom floor heating was on and so hot it burned under the legs. The temperature was 26 degrees celcius when we went to sleep. We almost did not sleep at all. No help or other room to change to when contacting the reception. Also the rooms are not the best soundproofed, so if you are a light sleeper this might be a problem. The food are also terrible, just heated bought inn food mostly. Prices are ridiculous. One bottle of water cost 60kr!!!!!
- It was freezing. We had the radiator up full in the room but I still had to get up in the middle of the night and put on a jumper. The breakfast room was also freezing, we ate breakfast in our coats. The breakfast was also poor. None of the food was warm and the boiled eggs had gone a weird black/brown colour.
- Staff acted rude and condescending. The room was so poorly sound isolated that you could have slept with the door open and have the same noise. All doors slamming shut and people running in the the corridor outside the room. Pricey food that was at a very simple dinner level. Didnt come across as such a depressing dinner with some rooms at the back when we booked it.
