- My husband and I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. Not only was it beautiful and impeccably clean, but the service truly exceeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond in thoughtful ways, laying out our pjs on the bed, placing a small box of water on the nightstand each evening, and even bringing us fresh fruit while we relaxed on the beach.

- Parking per night was a bit high but it is a five star hotel so perhaps that’s normal. Pesaro is a resort town so it can be quite crowded on the beach (but the Excelsior beach was less so).
- – brakfast was ok but could definitely get better 😉 – close by is very noisy bar, lound music and drunk kids yelling until late at night – guests did not follow the rules of the spa and staff did not do anything. There was a kid in the spa under allowed age with a father who was making phone calls loudly. So annoying I had to leave the spa.
- Only one thing was off, the water pressure in the shower was low in anytime of the day but other than that it was a wonderful stay.
- The only note on what I would change, would be to wash all linens and towels in unscented laundry soaps and products. I am very sensitive to synthetic and artificial scents. The towels and bedding were slightly irritating for me.

- The hotel restaurant wasn't to our liking but nonetheless was quite busy. As a pedestrian, I found walking close to traffic on Ancona's narrow back streets somewhat daunting!
- Housekeeping is terrible at this hotel. Our room had large items of trash on the floor and in the curtains, and our coffee area had open packets of sugar. Housekeep was also EXTREMELY loud starting very very early in the morning. Vacuuming the hallway, slamming into walls, and having very loud and expressive conversations with each other.

- The location, organization, and cleanliness — not only in the rooms but throughout the entire hotel — were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the beds had mattress encasements for bedbug protection. The hallways had a very pleasant scent of candles and cleanliness. The breakfast was appropriate for the season and the occupancy, and more than satisfactory. The restaurant was open for dinner; the service was excellent, the food was good, and there was also a nice selection of wines.

- I did not care for the handicap room, it was large but sparse. I could hear the trains esp. since I am a light sleeper. I tried to reserve an ocean balcony room but none available. I was notified after making the reservation and was offered free cancellation, but did not have time to make an alternative plan. The hotel , otherwise was lovely, great breakfast, very clean, good staff, lovely beach and pool. Would stay again if ocean view and balcony available. Very good parking on site.
- Oh my!!!!!! The trains pass just in front of the hotel, even as early as 3 am!!!!!!
- Disappointing Experience with Sea !!! I recently stayed at Hotel Playa Suite and was disappointed to find that my sea view apartment didn't live up to the description. Despite paying for a full sea view, I was given a room with only a partial view. When I brought this to the management's attention, I was told to move out. The attitude and lack of customer service were totally unacceptable !!!

- I've written reviews before but I'll say again that this is our favourite home away from home hotel. This was our third visit in 2025. We love to stay over Christmas because it's very special. I love the breakfast and the views from the breakfast room over the harbour. I love the understated elegance of the hotel itself and the way it has been decorated. Staff are lovely always.

- Absolutely stunning Villa style hotel away from civilization on a large private property / forest – you can even make a short hike there to go to top of the mountain and enjoy the sea view. We had the Prestige room with sea view – very clean, it was cleaned and refreshed twice a day. A beautiful and lovely place for couples to chill out. I can imagine that it's a great spot for weddings. Olga from reception was great in taking care of our wishes. She organized a dinner at a nice restaurant in the town. Drinks and pool towels were available. Pool was nice and a plenty of space available. There were always 1-2 other couples there. Sometimes we were alone (July).

- This is by far the best hotel I have seen in the last year or two (out of about 100-120 where I have stayed). Those who need to stop for the night on their way through Italy will not find a better place. Those looking for a relaxing, secluded getaway will find exceptional views, comfortable rooms and fantastic staff. Those who did not intend to come here at all should come at least for the sake of real "haute" cuisine.

- The breakfast was a little too small for my taste as I am used to international travelling in 5* hotels. No vegetables. Only small selection of food – most was sweet but maybe it's the Italian culture of breakfast? Unfortunately the Michelin awarded (no star) restaurant was closed for two consecutive days while we were there – we went one evening to a 1* Michelin restaurant in the town (10 minutes away) which was great.

- Beautifully chic and stylish hotel located in the tranquil area of Gabicce Mare and just a stones throw from the beach. Stayed in Room 208, with a side sea view. My room and the hotel itself has been recently refurbished throughout. Every detail has been carefully curated, even down to the high-end Rituals products provided in the ensuite bathroom, to create an air of opulent elegance. Clean lines, minimalistic design coupled with a certain oriental flair. Extremely beautiful and absolutely loved it. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good choice of quality savoury and sweet items served in a stylish dining room area that gives you a sense of staying somewhere rather special. I will definitely return. Thank you for a delightful stay.

- Na ja, es wird noch renoviert… An der Wand hatte es so eine nervige blinkende Station in grün und blau, das hatte ich versucht abzudecken, Disco im Zimmer hat genervt. Leider hatte das Hotel gegenüber an diesem Abend eine Liveband draussen aufspielen. Da war an Schlaf vor Mitternacht nicht zu denken.
- Die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht direkt steuern (gehe davon aus, dass das im Zuge der Fertigstellung noch geändert wird), das war etwas nervig, aber wenn man Bescheid gegeben hat, wurde es umgehend kühler gestellt.
