- The interior of the hotel is relaxing, fancy and well designed. Only the rooms could be little more updated, seems for me little old school. Of course I get the posh vibe. The spa and wellness area is really well planned, we enjoyed that a lot.
- Amazing setting and amenities. The spa was wonderful, offering a warm pool, steam room, saunas, showers all with sweeping views of the fjord. Museum and gallery located on the property was very interesting and gave a great history of the property.

- Also at the spa is couple safety issues. Floors are extremely slippery, I have visited so many places and this was first where I had to walk next to walls to keep myself steady. The floor in panorama sauna is also dangerously hot – burns your feet.
- The rooms definitely are in need of a facelift as they are dated and to be honest, quite smelly with that "old musty" smell that builds over time. A refresher of the room accommodation would make a huge difference in justifying the price point of this Hotel which seems slightly overpriced for the quality at present .. But love the historic structure overall

- Only downside was the jacuzzi, the water was very hot and dirty with flies and stuff.

- Great hotel, comfy rooms, very busy buffet breakfast but beautifully stocked with lots of gluten-free options – allergens clearly marked. Pod coffee was available in the lobby, and we were able to fill our keep-cups for the next stage of our road trip before we left. Cool location on old port quarters, wished we had more time to explore on foot.
- Good location that is near to the city center Helpful staff who provided great advice and assistance. They even helped us pack breakfast as we had to leave really early in the morning for our flight.
- I travelled for work and took my wife and 6 month old son and the hotel was perfect. The crib was so nice and perfect, plus everywhere is very accesible with babies. The location couldnt be better, with the view and proximity to everything you need in the town center
- Great room with a view of sea. It was such a pleasant surprise to run into Yvonne at the front desk—the same Yvonne who introduces the hotel in such a humorous way on Rednote. Since we had an early flight, the staff thoughtfully arranged for breakfast to be ready before 4:30 a.m., so we could bring it to the airport. This thoughtful service left a very warm impression.

- If you are booking for the parking, then be aware that the access in the basement parking is first-come, first-serve, and it is very, very tight. If you have an SUV or larger vehicle, or you are not super confident in parking vehicle in tight spots then this may be a bit much! We managed with our little Suzuki rental, and many-point turns and by reversing into the parking garage, around 90 degree bends and also reversing out of the garage to get out again 😄
- The drop off point is a bit too inconveniente because there is no real designated area to stop, but not a deal breaker!
- The parking cost 250 nok a day
- mattress for the bed was a bit too soft, not too comfortable
- Breakfast was good…and this is going to sound picky, but the staff at breakfast hover around so eager to take plates away that you feel like you have to guard your food. Relax people, let us eat!

- At the entrance , it’s hard to move luggage.
- The cleaning rota for the room. They don’t change the sheets or make the bed and we were there for a four night stay! The cleaning manager told us when we queried this that they don’t make the bed or change the bed unless we specifically ask them, just mop, change the towels and empty the bins. Which is just weird
