- Upon arrival, we lugged our bags up the front steps as doormen watched. I was surprised that a 5-star hotel didn't rush out with valets. Slightly disappointed that the hotel's main restaurants were closed for two weeks over the holidays.

- The hotel is located in a very beautiful area: water, lake, garden. The breakfast buffet is very nice and there is coffee, water and tea available during the day. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
- The location is amazing overlooking the water. It is peaceful and there is loads of parking. Vaxholm is about 15 minutes by car. There is great public transport in the area. Breakfast buffet, self serve had a wonderful selection. Staff also offered to cook. Reception had 24/7 good quality coffee, tea, water. The staff are welcoming and go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable.

- Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die zwei 812 / 813 Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß . Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Die Sauna und der Außenwhirpool waren fantastisch. Man konnte danach gleich in die Ostsee springen. Das Frühstück war so vielfältig ,echt super toll. Es liegt etwas abseits aber sehr ruhig und schön.
- Allt var över förväntan. Innan ankomst fick jag flera samtal och mail från hotellet och kontakten med de var alltid supertrevlig. Tex så frågade jag om det fanns grill och de sa att det gör det inte med de ordnar det och det gjorde de. Allt fanns. Vi var 6 st som reste och rummen var superfina och alla hade eget fint badrum. 5 enkelrum och ett dubbelrum. Huset var jättefint och nära vattnet med fin utsikt. Vi lagade mat där då det var midsommar och köket var bra med fräscha kastruller, stekpannor, porslin och bestick. Allt fanns förutom en potatisskalare =). Då hotellet var stängt hade de fyllt kylskåpet med frukostmat som yogurt, mjölk, ost, massor av olika sorters kött pålägg mm. Vi hade en supertrevligt vistelse. Tack!!!

- Jeg kunne i særdeleshed ikke lide det kæmpe ventilationsanlæg der var monteret i loftet – lige over sengen i det helt nyistandsatte værelse – som summede konstant og ikke kunne slukkes. Man kan jo åbne vinduet, hvis man vil have luft og hvis lovgivningen kræver det, så sæt det et sted, hvor det ikke generer og giver træk. Ærgerligt at restauranten ikke var åben. Særligt fordi jeg havde spurgt til den og fået et svar der indikerede at den var åben.

- The hotel is quirky and pleasant. The rooms are nicely furnished, and the hotel is very clean. The staff are very friendly, and they are very efficient. I am pleased that they use refillable toiletries products rather than single use disposable ones. The hotel is very clean. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was really pleasant given that the outside temperature was -10 degrees Celsius!

- The lighting in the room was very poor – far too dark even with every light turned on. It was also surprising from an environmental point of view to find filament light bulbs still being used in the bedside lights, which I noticed because of the heat being generated. I thought the breakfast was average.
- The sauna and steam room is smaller and more basic than expected and was often cold unless planned a while in advanced.
- The bed was comfortable, but gave me a terrible backache. It was also quite noisy outside and therefore very hard to sleep.
- They need bigger restaurant for breakfast. You shouldn't wait for more then half an hour to get a table.
- After check out the hotel charged for a minibar that I didn't use

- Breakfast advertised from 7.30 to 11. At 10, everything was cold, looked stale, and disordered.
- It would be great if the TV'S in the rooms had the possibility of logging in into more services than just You Tube and Netflix. Viaplay would be a winner as I wanted to watch the Premier League matches. Anyway, I watched it on my phone, so all good!
- Food in the restaurant, also I used to like my cold beer in the evening but they don't Server it anymore
- Coffee machine broke every morning during the 4 days I stayed in the hotel.

- While it is only a 10-15 min walk to the metro to get you to the city center. It is a 25 min metro ride to the city center and more in the area of tourist activity. The area around the hotel doesn’t have anything remotely to do. There is a grocery store near the metro (10-15 mins away) but very few restaurants in the area.
- NO cleaning whatsoever, literally didnt get a single days worth of cleaning, towels got replaced when i asked. no slippers either, and no phone either

- Hotel historique magnifique. Les espaces communs sont très beaux et bien entretenus. La chambre dans l'aile annexe était tout a fait correcte. Confortable et calme. Petit déjeuner de bon standing.
