- Very comfortable rooms, nicely decorated with modern bathrooms. Tons of hot water. Home cooked food with high quality ingredients and vegetarian and vegan options. Reasonably priced and run super efficiently with warm and friendly staff. In the centre of Main Street near the shops and museum. 5 minutes from public transport. Toasty warm even in particularly cold weather.
- Central location in Haworth, about 3 minutes walk to bus stops. I stayed in room number 3, it looked like newly refurbished and was very cosy. It was quite roomy, it would be perfectly all right for 2 people. Tea & coffee making facilities inside the room, breakfast already in the price. I arrive about 15 minutes before check-in time and my room wasn't ready, but they kindly let me leave my luggage with them. When I came back a guy (I don't remember his name, sorry!) showed me the way into my room and explained everything (how to enter the inn late at night etc.). As a welcoming gift I got a voucher for 3 tasting size ales from their local brewery (try especially Golden Best, it's really the best!) and a 10% off any of my orders in the inn. The pub has a great atmosphere with a real fireplace, wool & leather armchairs etc. I tried their steak & ale pie and oh my, it was amazing! I also saw a lot of nice looking desserts but I was so full I changed my plans. Breakfast another day was okay – you can choose from a classic English breakfast or go for something lighter like porridge, eggs on toasts or yoghurt with cereals.
- The breakfast was excellent, high quality produce and a great selection. Good portions. The room was great, especially as a single room, the bed was a small double. The en suite was lovely and spotlessly clean. The complimentary beer flight and 10% of my evening meal was a lovely gesture.
- The breakfast and evening meal were very tasty, well cooked and very good sized portions. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Location was fab and we were directed to free parking
- Lovely accommodation in the heart of Haworth
Negative reviews
- Bear in mind that it is a working inn and an old building. You can hear everything what's going on downstairs in the pub. I knew it before I placed my booking, but I hoped that if the pub was open until 11pm (it was a Sunday night) it will get quiet after that. Unfortunately no, loud talking and laughing were heard at least until 11:30pm. So if you like an early lie-in take earplugs with you. Windows are old and you can feel the breeze, but the room itself was quite warm. It was, because during the night the heating was off and it wasn't on until at least 6am, so the room got cold. Before my check-in they stored my luggage but it wasn't in some of "staff only" place, it was just inside the pub with lots of people around… I was a bit dissapointed when I found out about it when I arrived after my stroll along the town.
- No window view room no 4
- My only criticism was that I couldn’t leave my bag 90 mins before check in. The pub doesn’t have a car park and I’d walked up a very steep hill from the main car park near the train station. I didn’t need my room early, just to leave my hold-all so I could look round the village which is very hilly. Instead I had to carry it with me and it was pretty heavy as it had my walking gear including walking boots.
- No car park
- Bit of noise pollution in the evenings but being that it was near Christmas and earplugs work it was all grand

- The lighting in the lounge and our room was very dim which meant we had to use our phone torches to read!

- Beautiful hotel and great spa facilities
- Very clean and cosy. The rooms were very spacious and bed was nice and comfortable
- The girl who checked us in on arrival was really nice. Very professional, polite and helpful. I explained our booking was due to our home being flooded and she was so empathic and lovely .
- The Jacuzzi was lovely and warm nice and clean the room was spacious and bed was very comfy our third time coming and each experience has been really good. All the staff were very helpful and polite
- Everything about it was just perfect.
Negative reviews
- The parking fee
- Having to pay for spa access because we didn't book direct, and having to pay for parking.
- Hearing the road traffic whilst trying to sleep
- The cups in our hotel room were very dirty when we arrived, one was that unclean on the outside we couldn't get it off to use it. The hotel cushions are very soft, me and my daughter struggled to get comfy.
- The sauna and steam at the spa need cleaning – did not smell good The room smelt like stale smoke. The bedding was so awful we slept in dressing gowns, as it smelt dirty and old – we told the staff who changed the sheets, but the duvets and pillows need an overhaul. Think dirty teenager. We even went and bought out own pillows! (they had ran out of pillows from the menU). Really affected sleep and let us down. Too. much upheaval to move rooms, and assumed the bedding would not improve wherever we went.

- Room and bed very comfortable. Overnight stay including breakfast & use of spa good value for money. Hotel amenities very good & it's a fun place to stay. Restaurant staff very friendly and attentive.
- Really lovely hotel, great location, very clean and well equipped – lovely atmosphere. Went for business but would love to go back on a leisure basis & would recommend.
- Fabulous staff, friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, lovely bar area and excellent breakfast. Extremely welcoming of our dog.
- The hotel is beautiful and has so much more potential. The spa is okay. Very small and all a bit mediocre side of things. I wouldn’t call it a spa services but the room I e stayed is a wow! The views was amazing. The food is again okay. Nothing special. The staff are amazing.
- The staff at this hotel were 100/10, so lovely and helpful and really made the stay special! We stayed in a superior double, room was lovely and bed was huge and very comfy. Bathroom was modern and had nice amenities including robes which are always a treat. The downstairs lounges/ bars and restaurants are beautiful and the surrounding grounds are too. Also great golf course! The pool area was nice and steam and sauna were great!
Negative reviews
- Breakfast was very average, sadly: bread quite stale, eggs cold, coffee awful and croissants dry.
- The spa should be available until maybe 10:00pm to allow those who arrive late to use it.
- The food was OK but lacked flavour and not worth the money. And the pillows were terrible
- The restaurant is really, really poor. £40 for a fillet steak which came with frozen chips. Really disappointing birthday meal. Wish I had gone to an alternative restaurant. Would be more likely to stay again knowing the restaurant had improved.
- There appeared to be a problem with the generator/ heating as the noise in the corridor and in allocated room – first floor near the spa /boiler rooms, was disturbing . We were moved , with no problem , reception were really lovely about it ( did have to pay to upgrade to another suitable dog friendly room as no other dog friendly rooms on the type of room initially booked) and it was better – but still audible for part of the night and I had to sleep with earplugs. Not the usual experience ( we are regular guests) so hoping it was a one off and the problem resolved.

- Bed, shower, breakfast all great. Didn’t use the gym this time but expect to visit again and use it.

- Friendly staff, clean good facilities
Negative reviews
- My room was really noisy , air con and extractor fan were both off , but sounded like they were still running
- Very uncomfortable pillows
- Cost in general, along with the extremely slow service from staff
- £5 parking charge is not ideal… absolutely appreciate need for this to be there to manage demand for e.g. gym visitors but would be nice for it to be free, or better advertised on booking for hotel guests. Given location, expect most people will be driving…
- Room service was poor. Had to go to reception to find out where my order was and no one knew

- Cleanliness of room and nice bar area! Good breakfast.
- Cosy bed , friendly staff , great breakfast
- Room was a good size for our family of 5. It was nice and clean. Good choice for breakfast.
- The hotel was reasonably priced, had spacious double bedrooms, friendly reception staff, and it was a quiet stay without noise disturbances overnight. There were also good facilities at the hotel with a gym and swimming pool being on site. Additionally, there were plenty of parking spaces available. Overall, a good night’s stay.
- Great location and friendly staff. We stay here regularly
Negative reviews
- The coffee machine wasn’t working staff did try to fix it but it didn’t work. The check out there was a huge delay due to a family checking in early
- Poor food
- the room was very tired and the mirror was hanging off the wall,
- The shower had a constant drip which kept me awake on and off through the night. Breakfast room could have done with an extra toaster as we had to queue to make toast for 5
- There are no lifts and several doors to navigate to get through to the rooms on the upper floor. It would be really helpful if there was some way to make the doors easier to open, and electronic mechanism with a push button for example. Navigating the doors with bags alone isn’t easy. But this is really a minor issue and a suggestion not a complaint!
